Jack Morgan
Jack is from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and is the CEO of Black Star Rentals. He is currently a junior at Vanderbilt University, pursuing a degree in Economics with minors in Math, Business, and Data Science. His favorite aspect of BSR is meeting customers and learning how to manage teams. In his free time, Jack enjoys playing golf and pickup basketball as well as spending time with his friends and family
Alex Agabap
Alex is from Paramus, New Jersey and focuses on Customer Acquisition for Black Star Rentals. He is currently a junior at Vanderbilt University, pursuing majors in Human & Organizational Development and Cognitive Studies with a minor in Business. His favorite part about BSR is having the opportunity to experience both the front- and back-end of a legitimate business while collaborating with a team. In his free time, Alex enjoys lifting, watching movies, and spending time with his friends and family.
Graeme Rutter
Graeme is from Nashville, TN and focuses on Marketing and Operations at Black Star Rentals. He is currently a sophomore studying Economics with minors in Business and Human & Organizational Development. Graeme’s favorite part of BSR is the opportunity to be directly involved in the decision making process of a legitimate business. In his free time, Graeme enjoys golfing, watching sports and spending time with his friends.
Michael Varnava
Michael is from the Bay Area, California, and is the Vice President of Finance for Black Star Rentals. He is a sophomore at Vanderbilt University, majoring in Economics and minoring in Business and Data Science. His favorite thing about BSR has been working with great people and learning more about how businesses operate on a day-to-day basis. In his free time, Michael enjoys surfing, watching White Collar, skiing, golfing, and playing pickleball.
Todd McPherson
Todd is from Dallas, Texas and primarily focuses on the operations at Black Star Rentals. He is currently a sophomore at Vanderbilt University pursuing degrees in Mathematics and Computer Science with a minor in Business. His favorite aspect of BSR is the unmatched experience in gaining knowledge on how to run and operate a business, while also providing a great service to his fellow classmates. In his free time, Todd enjoys playing basketball and golf, as well as reading a variety of books.
Gus Collins
Gus is from Kenilworth, Illinois and serves as the Vice President of Finance while also contributing key marketing tactics. He is currently a junior studying Human and Organizational Development with minors in Business and Data Science. What he loves most about BSR is the invaluable experience of running a company and making impactful decisions which drive its success. Gus enjoys golfing, skiing, snowboarding, lacrosse, running, and spending time with friends and family.

He is currently a sophomore at Vanderbilt University pursuing degrees in Mathematics and Economics and minors in Computer Science and Business. His favorite aspect of BSR is learning how a company operates while collaborating with a team and connecting with clients and business professionals. In his free time, Jack enjoys surfing, running, skiing, and spending time outdoors with friends and family.
Ben Ruppert
Ben is from East Grand Rapids, Michigan and focuses on the finance and operations teams for Black Star Rentals. He is currently a sophomore at Vanderbilt University pursuing a degree in Economics with a minor in Business and Political Science. His favorite part of being a part of the BSR team in the ability to gain hands-on experience running a company with the team, while also providing comfort to his fellow classmates. In his free time, Ben enjoys playing golf and lacrosse, skiing, watching football, and spending time with his family and friends.
Karsen Uecker
Karsen is from Rogers, Arkansas and primarily focuses on the operations at Black Star Rentals. He is currently a senior at Vanderbilt University pursuing degrees in Engineering Science and Economics with a minor in Business. His favorite aspect of BSR is the unique opportunity for real-world experience partnered with creating a product that improves the quality of life for those around him. In his free time, Karsen enjoys wake surfing, cooking, playing golf and basketball, as well as spending time with his family and friends.
